Thanks to mercerization, DMC Perlé Cotton 8 has a smooth, lightly glossy surface and fade-resistant colors. Its twisted structure also gives stitches volume and definition. The thread does not pill, does not break and passes easily through the needle.
It is ideal for hardanger, decorative embroidery, edge trims and motifs, so lines, lettering and geometric patterns look neat and professional. It can also be used in cross stitch, gobelin and punch needle work.
