DMC Etoile (from the French “étoile” – star) is a mouliné thread made from a cotton and polyester blend. It is used to add an elegant shimmer to various embroidery techniques. The thread gently catches and reflects the light, making embroidery look more textured and vivid.

Its separable 6-strand structure lets you adjust the thread thickness and achieve shimmer at different intensities. It is softer than metallic threads and much more comfortable to work with.
